How to import a bank statement PDF into QuickBooks

  1. Download the statement PDF from your bank's online banking.
  2. Upload it to BankSheet, review the verified rows, and export .qbo.
  3. In QuickBooks: File → Utilities → Import → Web Connect file, then map the import to your bank account.

Every export carries a reconciliation proof

✓ Opening balance + Σ transactions = closing balance — checked row by row before you export. If the math doesn't hold, you'll see exactly which cell is wrong.

Frequently asked

Why QBO instead of CSV for QuickBooks?

QBO (Web Connect) keeps dates, amounts, and payees typed and maps directly to a bank account — no column-mapping wizard, no date-format surprises.

Will the imported transactions match my statement?

Every export is gated by the balance-chain check: if the math doesn't hold, you fix it before export — so what lands in QuickBooks is provably complete.
