BankSheet

Terms of Service

Last updated: September 18, 2026

In plain words: use BankSheet to convert statements you legitimately have access to. Don't use it to fabricate or alter financial records. The output is verified against the statement's own balance math — but you remain responsible for your books.

1. The service

BankSheet converts bank and credit card statement PDFs into structured spreadsheets (XLSX, CSV, QBO, OFX). Each conversion includes a reconciliation check: the balances in the extracted rows must be mathematically consistent with the statement's opening and closing balances. A passed reconciliation is strong evidence of correctness — it is not an accounting, tax, or legal opinion.

2. Acceptable use

3. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" during the beta period. While reconciliation checks catch most extraction errors, no automated system is infallible: you must review the output before relying on it for accounting, tax filings, loan applications, or legal purposes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BankSheet disclaims all warranties, express or implied.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BankSheet's total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim or USD 100.

5. Beta period & pricing

During the public beta the service is free with usage limits. Paid plans may be introduced with notice; beta users identified as early adopters may receive grandfathered access as described on the site. You may cancel any paid plan at any time; we offer a 7-day no-questions-asked refund on new subscriptions.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, unlawful use, or violation of these terms. You may stop using the service at any time.

7. Governing law & contact

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's place of business. Questions or disputes: [email protected] — we resolve things conversationally first.
